Introduction:
In the search for continual improvement an important concept is control of quality problems to prevent their reoccurrence. Identifying the problem and understanding the best way to analyze and control it is key to prevention.
This program provides participants with the necessary information, guidance and prerequisite knowledge to identify, analyze, solve and prevent problems using the tools of quality.
Program Contents:
Introduction to the 7 and 8 Step Problem Solving Process
Brainstorming as a tool for problem identification and analysis
Use of various problem solving techniques including pareto, affinity and fishbone diagrams
Root Cause analysis
Cost Benefit analysis
Force Field analysis
Utilizing SPC, FMEAS and Control Plans
Maximizing the gains from problem solving
