Introduction:

Mistake-proofing is a very powerful set of techniques to prevent mistakes from happening or reacting immediately to contain any defect that occurs. It has been integrated into the Toyota Production System and has been applied in a multitude of applications across industry world-wide. Mistake-proofing is a key component of many quality initiatives:
